HELLO

My name is Adam Espinoza.

Born 1978 in Denver, Colorado, I am the son of a United States Marine and a Filipina beautician.

I’ve always loved art for as long as I can remember. While attending the Rocky Mountain College of Art & Design, I was introduced to the film Se7en. The opening sequence mesmerized me. I wasn't quite sure what it was. It was animation. It was film. It was design, and it told a story. I was hooked, and at that point, I knew I wanted to pursue a career in motion design. I graduated in December 1999 and landed my first job as a broadcast designer in January 2000.

While freelancing in 2008, a group of friends and I decided to share a warehouse space together—a place where we could bounce ideas off each other, share, and collaborate on work. We called our little motion collective Friends of Mine.

I’ve been fortunate to collaborate with talented and amazing people, creating for top brands and entertainment. With 25+ years of experience and a focus on motion design (mixing 2D, 3D, and live-action elements), I bring a proven track record of delivering visually impactful, immersive and emotional content. A detailed eye and unique aesthetic language have helped me earn an Emmy Award, The One Club Award, The Webbys, Promax BDA, and features in Post Magazine, Communication Arts, and Stash Magazine.

Past clients include Jordan, Nike, Coinbase, AT&T, EA Sports, Ford, Hyundai, iHeart Radio, Discovery Channel, Lifetime, Oxygen, Jason Aldean, and Luke Bryan.

Happy 23rd birthday to this beautiful soul. Keep shining bright Marisol! I’m thankful to be on this journey with you. Love Dad ❤️ @marisolespi_
